Aberdeen Taxi Centre runs a very successful taxi driver training school. Our specially designed training programme has led to a student pass rate of 95%. To become a taxi driver in Aberdeen City you have to sit "the Hackney Test". To do this you need a sound knowledge of streets, places of interest and routes throughout the city. You also need to know the Highway Code and be a competent driver. At the Taxi Training School, we will guide you through the different parts of the test and instruct you on the legal and practical requirements to get you started as a self-employed taxi driver.
